Well, it's weigh-in day and I'm up two and a half pounds! Shocking as that amount is, I can't say that I'm surprised after nearly a week long binge on comfort and junk food. I'm back on the straight and narrow today. I'm starting my day with a blueberry/spinach/protein powder/cranberry juice shake with fresh strawberries and pineapple on the side. Tonight, it will be a stir fry of shrimp, broccoli, celery, onion and cabbage in a homemade peanut sauce. I actually enjoy the healthy foods more than the junk but for some reason that's hidden deep in my psyche, I still run straight for the junk when I'm emotionally stressed. Well, let's get this party started; this day is full of possibilities!
